Container desiccant, also known as biochemical desiccant, is a product in the shipping industry to prevent material deterioration. Many new users do not know how to use it just after buying it. Mingwei Industrial will teach you how to use container desiccant. step:
1. Check the product
Check for damage, such as holes or cracks in the container walls, top and bottom, and seal all air holes in the container. Check if the quantity is low and double check against the quantity you ordered.
2. Check the humidity of the wooden floor
Do not use containers with a humidity value exceeding 20% and 25%, which will increase the risk of dampness. If it cannot be replaced, we can increase the amount of desiccant according to the moisture content in the container to ensure the safety of the goods.
3. Place the desiccant
After opening the small package, use it up as soon as possible. It should be placed evenly in the container, close to the door of the box, and more can be placed appropriately.
For products that are sensitive to humidity, it is recommended to put 1600g of desiccant per cubic meter of the box. Take it out of the sealed plastic sleeve and hang it on the safety hook on the inner wall of the container. General products can put 1300g of desiccant.
Due to the high humidity climate of the ocean and the large temperature difference between day and night, container desiccants play a vital role in ocean transportation or storage and are very popular.
