Instructions for use with cobalt humidity indicator card

Popularity:146 Time:2022-01-03 09:57:02
You can quickly judge the humidity in the product package and the effect of the desiccant by the color on the card with the cobalt humidity indicator card. It is a simple and effective method to detect the humidity of the environment. If the humidity in the package exceeds or equals the humidity value, the corresponding point on the card will change from a dry color to a hygroscopic color, and you can easily know the effect of the desiccant at this moment.

The principle of the cobalt and halogen humidity card is based on the principle of the color change of the substance produced by cobalt chloride or cobalt bromide after absorbing water, and it is reversible. If the humidity exceeds the corresponding humidity value, the color changes from blue to red, and vice versa. It takes longer to change from red to blue, but to change from red to blue. The cobalt-free halogen-free humidity card uses non-halogen ligands to coordinate with cobalt to achieve color changes under dry and hygroscopic conditions.

The scope of application of cobalt humidity indicator card: moisture-proof and dehumidification in electronic component packaging, optical equipment, sensitive components, various vacuum packaging, IC/integrated/circuit board, semiconductor packaging and testing, biochips and other fields.

Instructions for use with cobalt humidity indicator card:

1. When the humidity of the environment reaches or reaches the value marked on the indicator point on the indicator card, the indicator point will change from a dry color to a hygroscopic color.

2. When the humidity of the environment decreases, the color of the indicator card will change from moisture-absorbing color back to dry color.

3. When the color of the indicated point becomes the specified color, the value in the point is the humidity value of the current environment.
